The terms of booking, cancellation policy and other information below apply to all table bookings at The Star Inn Watchet, irrespective of how or when a booking is made.

Guests should also refer to our restaurant opening hours prior to making a booking.

How to secure your reservation

Reservations can be made online through our table booking service only.

The Star Inn Watchet requires all guests to pay a deposit of a minimum £10.00 to secure a reservation.

When to arrive

The time you book your table for is when you will be seated.

Should you wish to enjoy a pre-food drink in our bar or garden, please be sure to arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to the time your table is booked and please advise us on arrival that you are with us.

If you are late!

Please call us on +44 (0)1984 631367 if you are not going to arrive before the time your table is booked.

Should you not arrive within 15 minutes after your booking time, the table will be released (without compensation) and will be subject to our cancellation charge of the initial deposit paid.

If you do arrive later than 15 minutes, although we cannot guarantee that your table will still be available, we will endeavour, if at all possible, to allocate a later seating for you.

If a later slot is not available you will lose your reservation and are subject to our cancellation charge.

How to cancel a reservation

Cancellations requests can be made via your booking confirmation email, however this method can only be done within 24 hours of your booking.

Call us on +44 (0)1984 631367 at least 24 hours before your booking.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking will be subject to our cancellation charge of the deposit paid.

Cancellation charge

In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part by you, or is cancelled by you with less than 24 hours notice the cancellation charge is the deposit paid either online or over the phone.

Our menu can change

Dishes specified on the sample menus on our website may not be available on the day of your visit.

Allergies and dietary requirements

When making your booking, please inform us of any allergy or dietary requirements you or your guests may have, as we are always willing to accommodate all requests.

If, for some reason, we have not been informed prior to your meal, we will endeavour to meet your requirements.

Smoking policy

We have a strictly no smoking policy (including e-cigarettes) throughout the Inn.

Large parties

For parties of 6 or more guests, please contact us prior to making a booking so that we can be certain of accommodating you.

You can either call us on the above number or use the booking form and in the ‘people’ section put any number above 6, this will generate an enquiry as apposed to a booking form automatically.
